Booking Terms
Please note that your table will only be held for 15 minutes from the time of your reservation and we cannot guarantee your reservation after this time. Tables of 2-4 are allocated 2 hours while groups of 5+ will be allocated 2 hours and 30 minutes. If you would like to increase the length of your booking or join us for a pre-dinner cocktail at the bar please contact us directly.
Q. What are Kyoka’s opening hours?
A. We are open from 11:00am – 11:00pm Daily.
Q. What time are last orders?
A. Last orders for food is 10:00pm while last orders for drinks is 10:30pm.
Q. What type of food does Kyoka serve?
A. We serve Japanese homestyle and modern dishes with a delicious selection of sushi, sashimi, ramen and other noodle dishes including nabeyaki udon and hiyashi somen (cold somen noodles). We also have an excellent selection of bites to share such as chicken yaktiori and gyoza and also serve some seriously delicious Japanese inspired burgers.
Q. Does Kyoka have vegetarian options?
A. Yes we have an extensive selection of delicious vegetarian options. Vegetarian and Vegan options are clearly marked on our menu.
Q. Does Kyoka cater to food allergies?
A. We accommodate guests with allergies wherever possible. Our menu is clearly labelled to highlight dishes for example that are gluten free/vegan. When making a booking please specify your dietary preferences/requirements such as allergies and food intolerances in the special requests box and we will contact you if more information is required. Please also let our team know upon being seated so that we can assist you with menu choices and also inform our chef. Since opening in 2019 we have hosted innumerable guests with various allergies and have yet to encounter any issues, in saying that we do have a small kitchen so please keep that in mind when choosing to dine with us.
Q. Do you offer gluten free sushi options?
A. We have several gluten free sushi and sashimi options and can provide tamari for our gluten free guests. Please make sure to discuss your gluten free requiements with our team upon being seated.
Q. Does Kyoka allow BYO?
A. Yes we allow BYO for wine, our corkage fee is Rp.200,000 per bottle.
Q. Do I need to make a reservation at Kyoka?
A. Reservations are always recommended so that we can prioritise your booking, however we warmly welcome walk in guests.
Q. Is Kyoka a good choice for group bookings?
A. We love to host groups and create memorable experiences here at Kyoka, for groups of 12 and under feel free to book directly through our booking platform and leave us a note in the special requests sections. For larger groups please contact us directly on whatsapp +62 813-3896-8223 so that we can discuss your requirements directly.
Q. Where is Kyoka located?
A. Kyoka is located in the heart of Ubud on Jalan Dewi Sita only a few hundred meters from the Ubud Soccer Field, Jalan Raya Ubud, Jalan
Hanoman and Jalan Monkey Forest making it extremely convieniet for anyone visiting central Ubud.
Q. Is Kyoka a good place to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or honeymoon?
A. Yes our guests regularly choose us as the perfect spot to celebrate a special occasion. Please contact us directly via whatsapp +62 813-3896-8223 for special requests or book directly through our booking platform Chope.
Q. Is Kyoka a good choice for couples?
A. We have a vibrant yet intimate evening atmosphere where couples can enjoy date night or a honeymoon celebration.
Q. Is Kyoka family friendly?
A. We warmly welcome families and those with small children.
Q. Does Kyoka have a kids menu?
A. We do not have a kids menu but we do our best to cater for children and usually find there is more than enough on our menu to satisfy including sushi, ramen, chicken yakitori and gyoza. We have two high chairs/baby chairs so please make a request in advance.
Q. Does Kyoka have parking?
A. While we do not have onsite parking there is plenty of public parking available a few hundred meters from our restaurant at the Ubud soccer field which is accessible from Jalan Monkey Forest.
Q. What kind of atmosphere does Kyoka have?
A. At Kyoka we offer a beautifully designed space with a contemporary Japanese interior creating a vibrant yet cozy atmosphere.
Q. Is smoking allowed at Kyoka?
A. For those wishing to smoke we have tables available on our deck area – if you wish to book one of these tables please communicate this with our staff when booking, these tables are booked on a first come first serve basis. While special requests are not guaranteed we always do our best to accommodate our guests.
